Experience with a boost gauge before you installed 710N's and a new TBB? I need your HELP PLEASE!

Hey guys, I think something is wrong with my car after I had some 710N BPV's and an MTM TBB (with Y-brace) installed this past week.
The car does not pull like it used to. I have been watching my boost levels like a hawk since the installs, and I've noticed that boost levels seem to be 'in much more control'... meaning that there are no crazy boost spikes past 1.1 like i was seeing in the past with just a chip.
However, boost climbs much more slowly then before... is this also normal with new BPV's? i was under the impression that it wouldn't change the performance of the car... Compared to the way boost climbed and peaked before the installs, the boost feels more 'contained' and builds and releases solidly... not all over the map like before... there are basically no boost spikes when i upshift, but on the flip side, boost doesn't WOOOSH to 1.0 bar either...
but with my lack of pulling power I can't help but suspect that I may have a leak somewhere. If I did have a leak, i would see MORE boost spikes right? before the installs, 2nd gear would fly toward redline... now it kinda crawls up there...
Besides butt dyno saying that the car doesn't pull as hard, there is a noticeable lack of the 'sandblaster' effect. When i first chipped the car and had stock BPV's and TBB, I had an amazing loud sandblaster effect. Now that I've had the work done, there seems to be a lot less air flowing through the exhuast system, and very little sandblaster effect. DId anyone notice this as well?
The top end speed of the car is still there... but the amazing OOMPH torque i had when i first installed the chip is not there anymore... not sure where to go from here... I'm going to try and build a pressure tester to see if I have any leaks...
i'm out of ideas and am not sure what do do about this... the driver side intercooler pipe is not perfectly flush in the TBB... the metal clamp still goes around the pipe, but the pipe doesn't fit as snugly as the passenger side IC pipe... could airflow be a problem? seems like a minor thing to me, but i don't know...
going for a drive and will adapt the throttle body (while engine is cold) before i go... maybe that will help things... any last minute advice for symptoms to look for before i leave?

I've had the same questions. when i installed my 710Ns, i cant hear the boost being released like i used to, and i thought i was crazy!
But, i didnt see any negative effects on performance. it just, like you said, felt more controlled.
i didnt do the TBB thought.
