Default experiencing considerable idle drops when turning a/c on and off...

The car sounds like it might even die, thats how low it drops. This is happening with the car warm. Battery a year or so old, and voltage gauge reads fine. Additionally, it almost seems like the car starts misfiring when idling after this happens.

Car drives fine however...all the power seems to be there...Thoughts on most likely culprit?

Any wierd sounds comming from the engine/compressor once it engages? I imagine the A/C still works properly?

Are there any lemi tweeks to idle torque additive offset, although I don't know why this would just now start an issue.

Idle should go up not down - Wild speculation: A/C diverts some of the intake air and runs it through the cabin filter and so on, maybe you have an issue getting enough air to the engine with A/C on?

probabaly more like a seized bearing on the compressor. Does the issue happen in ECON mode or heat?

Will have to try that. Could it be an alternator issue?
