Default extended warranty

old question--I have a 2000 with only 25,000 miles but the warranty runs out in January. Considering extended warranty. Anyone wish to recommend for or against a specific program? Any thoughts on sell to dealer and have audi assured then buy back?

Default Warranty Gold is great...

...but they're pricey IMO. I went with another for my S4. See the linked post.

https://forums.audiworld.com/texas/msgs/830.phtml</a

Default Can't you just buy a 3rd party warranty from the Audi dealership?...

wouldn't that be better?

I'm thinking of going that way - better service satisfaction maybe because although not Audi, but who Audi recommends?

I hope so, don't know who to trust these days.

Only a few months left before standard warranty runs out.

yes, but the other warranties appear to be less $$. The buyback, if that would work would be a more comprehensive warranty...but perhaps not long enough

Default I've found different dealerships have different recommendations.

The warranty one of my local dealerships rec'd was about the most expensive.
I bought Extended Auto Warranty Inc.
I've have to claims and both were paid. The first was paid to an outside repair shop, and the second to the dealership. I can't complain.
