Plan to place my order for my 2001 S4 but can't seem to decide on color combos. Would appreciate some feedback.

Right now I'm leaning towards Santorin for the external color, the problem is that I like the Oynx/Alcantara two tone look. Does anyone have a Santorin with Oynx / Silver Alacantara ? What are your thoughts ?? My initial thoughts are that I would prefer the Alacantara to match the external color as close as possible.

Should I play it safe and go with a Silver Exterior with the Oynx / Silver Alcantara interior ?

Nogaro exterior with Oynx / Blue Alcantara may be a bit aggresive for my taste. I'm looking for balance.

Any serious comments would be appreciated. I've only seen Silver with Oynx and Imola with Oynx in person.

I have Nogaro with the onyx leather and birdsye trim and I love it. Slick as hell. I never saw the Oynx / Blue Alacantara In person so i didnt wanna risk it.
The car i test drove at first was Santorum with the Oynx / Silver Alacantara. It was sweet. I liked it alot. Good Luck

OK, I'm prejudiced......but would recommmend you try and at least look at a Nogaro / Blue Alcantara combo in person. Nogaro is not done justice by any picture--you just have to see it and you will love it.

If you're looking for a good interior / exterior match, this is just about perfect. FYI, the interior color is not as bright as you might expect from Audi's S4 brochure. I admit it's a little bold, but I would prefer to call it "stunning" rather than "aggressive". I work with some pretty conservative guys and even they have been complimentary.

We ordered the Santorin with Silver interior because we wanted the contrast. There have been some great pics posted of this combination previously.

With the Silver exterior, IMO the onyx looks better. I guess I just like contrast. Imola is definitely a Onyx only...

The Nogaro is the only one I would 'match' with the blue alcantara...

just my opinion.

I've got the Silver / Onyx Combo. I personally LOVE it, and my passengers have always commented on how much they liked the interior. I saw all the color combo's at various car shows and lots, and my preference leans away from the color mixing interior.....maybe i'm getting old or something...WAIT...i'm 21 !!! Damn the dotcommunists..... =P

I would go with with either leather or alcantera,as long as it's silver.All - onyx gives you that "sitting in a coal bin effect",and it's hot during the summer months.I like the blue/onyx,but as was mentioned,it looks best only with the Nogaro exterior. And ultimately, blue/onyx is too "boy racer" for me. So, silver it is! IMHO, of course.

that is the colors on my car. i like it a LOT.
it looks classy and is comfortable and easy to keep clean. (a question i had with the Alcantera)
only thing i would do different is replace the Aluminum trim w/Grey wood (personal preference. you CAN'T order it that way)
anyone want to trade interior trim??
BTW: i DON'T think Silver is fastest. to a cop, Imola may be! i DO KNOW that Santorin is the "stealthy-est".

Light Silver Metallic with Onyx Leather/Silver Alcantara is absolutely stunning!!!

For some reason German cars just look right to me in silver. Maybe its the shade or paint characteristics, maybe the design/style... I just dunno. It just is. Maybe its just me.
