factory hose upgrades (the braided stuff) anyone do this? Any reason why you shouldn't? Clamps?

I'm thinking about replacing ALL factory hoses with silicone ones and adjustable/reusable clamps.
So ignore for a moment all of the hoses in the Samco kit, the F-Hose, and the TBB.
I'm talking about all OTHER hoses, like all of the vacuum lines and such (black braided hoses).
I'm thinking of going with a silicone high pressure hose line, something thick walled and durable like this:

Any reason this would be a BAD idea?
Also, what are the BEST reusable clamps for varying hose sizes and where to buy them?
Thanks...

some small hoses to put a reusable clamp on...if you can get away with zip ties in some locations, go for it...otherwise, you'll probably have to go with the crimp style clamps for hoses that small...as long as those hoses don't break off easily, that would be cool...i had some nasty piece of hose...(don't know the exact material)...but it was glossy and the stupid thing could be torn apart by hand...it's like it was made out of sugar or something....
broke like pixie sticks.

If I increase that pressure, I'm putting the reliability of the system at risk.
In the interest of "over building" the underlying infrastructure that the charge pressure in the S4 must follow, I'd then feel better about raising the charge pressure amount.
Also, the factory hose clamps suck.

replace it. So I'd be interested. The only thing that I would guess would matter is keeping the volume and the length of the hose close to stock.

go to this site and search for "machine screw hose clamps", if you want the stock clamps search for "ear clamps"
If you are using the stock braided hose, you'll need the 6-8mm, you may be able to go up one size, especially if you have forge valves since the nipple is a bit bigger, but the 6-8mm will fit, just kinda tight. not sure what size for the thicker one on the passenger side...i just replaced that w/ a braided one...

http://www.mcmaster.com/</a
