Default Falken Azenis ST115

STFA, but any new impressions on these tires? How are the sidewalls? Right now I have Toyo FZ4 which are horrible all seasons that have NO grip in the rain. I had S-03s before (a million times better but WAY too loud and too short of a life for me). Looking at picking up these for <100 bucks a pop. Also, any impressions on Bridgestone Fuzion ZRi's ?

This comes up at least once a month and I always say how impressed I am with mine. Even in the rain.

Default For the money, comfort, quietness and good performance, ST115s are hard to beat. For...

Default Dittoed, for the money best tire confort , noise and grip.

I have them on my RS4's, sweet tires, low road noise, good handling (Azenis sports are better though, well grippier)

I find them to be the best all around summer/cruising sport tire. I'd still use something else for Auto-x, but general spirited quited driving these can't be beat.

Default Fuzion ZRI

I've had a set on stock rims for about three months now, I have no compaints about the tire, other than it looks like they won't last long but I knew that when buying them, maybe a 15-20k tire. At higher speeds(130+) they feel a little nervous, but I just discovered I have 2 bad control arms and that could be affecting them, wet traction has been solid also. I do think the tire is starting to get louder but not bad by my standards, about 5-6K on them know.

earlier opinion post

Default just got em today....

haven't had them mounted yet, but here's what I can tell you now. The 115 sidewall is pretty stiff just by feeling it. My outgoing ES100 were a tiny bit more rigid. The other choice I had was Proxes4, and those sidewalls were not stiff at all- they might have well been a 60 series touring tire. I skipped those.

The tread pattern looks like it will be quiet- not a lot of directional/v shaped patterning with lots of wide grooves bewteen. The 2 channels are huge though and take away quite a bit of rubber from the 235 width. Hope that doesn't affect performance too much.

Also, I've noticed some sites say the 115 is def. all season M+S, but some say summer. I dunno, but that's probably a good sign.
