The sidewalls on my 115s were super plush compared to my ES100s.

Default Almost just ordered a set.....

It would seem that traction is rated only "A" as opposed to many others "AA". What that means could be anyones guess. I don't think it's a lack of wet traction. From the research I did, people claim they wear out quicker than they should but they are dead quiet and are fairly sticky. I ended up going with a set of Potenza re750's instead. One person said the falkens are super sticky while one guy said they're not suited for auto X. I would have ordered them but a couple friends of mine have the re750's on their WRXs and have beat the crap out of them and still have a lot of tread left.

Default Your right, they made it to tap into that market,

But it's still a Bridgestone tire borrowing technology from the SO-3, When Falken first came to it was consider a "ricer tire" also.

Falken ST115s have a comparatively long-life tread wear rating: 360.

I think they are confusing them with Azenis Sport which are track tires.

Default nah they where talking about the st-115's but they may have beaten on them from what it sounds like.

Overall it sounds like a good tire though.
