Default If you going to have CF hood. Might as well be safe.

This is actually my 5th story bout CF hood flew open. Be careful. If you care how to the car would look. Well look at it now. My friend hood broke the windshill and sunroof. He have 22stitches from glass cut.

do CF hoods work with the OEM hood locking mechanism, or is it that that's not enough?

They work with the stock latch but they are not structurally stable without hoodpins

yeah, btdt. Happened to us a week before nationals 2001 :-(

Bryce: Is this your grill?

A call to the insurance company will replace the windshield that you broke when some object went flying at it on the freeway (I didn't say that), fixing the hood is a bit more difficult.

i was goin about 30mph and i hit it and bam i see a mass of black hitting my wind shield and i looked over and i saw no car to the side of me and i pulled over and saw the damage.

my friend tried to put the time slips on the board and it came out all blurry. personally i have no idea in how to do post the picture, not much of a computer whiz. but if you want i can take the picture with my friendz dig. camera and send it to you through e mail.
