What would you expect a 100% legal, federalized Avus Silver 02' RS4 with 20-40k mi to sell for in the states? Now I know that what you guys say will just be conjecture because there's almost no RS4's in the US and I've only seen 1 of them for sale (Josh Decker's old one that he had listed for like $125k w/ less than 5k mi or whatever IIRC), but I'm just looking for opinions. If you yourself would be seriously interested (very serious interest only and it won't be cheap) let me know what you'd be willing to pay. If you yourself are not seriously considering it, tell me what you'd EXPECT it to sell for, not what you'd personally pay for it or that you rather have a well sorted widebody stage 3 for cheaper. If I do end up getting and eventually selling the RS4 it wouldn't be for a good few months, just trying to see if I could actually recoup some of the costs to import it if I were to need to sell it.

just have to be happy with a stage 3 car at 1/3 the price or wait till the B8 hits the dealers.

it would definitely be a niche sale to someone such as myself who's dream car is a B5 RS4. It would be way more rare than any of the other cars if that's a factor for the buyer. I just thought of this, a B5 RS4 is more rare in the US than an Enzo, wow!

#1 It'll have to be a cash sale. No bank will carry a loan for this car.
#2 Not many people have the cash laying around to pay $60-70k for a car.
#3 Those that do most likely would rather spend that money on a 911 twin turbo.

good luck with the importation, and please share the whole process with us rather than keeping it some sort of trade secret ... this is a forum where the free flow of information should benefit all
