Default Feels like 1st and 2nd gear syncros are toast. Can't get the car in first or second...

This happened Sunday afternoon after a ~4k rpm launch. Remaining gear shifts, 3rd-6th are fine. I'm thinking I'm going to need a rebuild. Any thoughts or suggestions? This is that TMTek Euro-Spec Tranny. It's been great for about 40k+ miles with no issues whatsoever.

Default how do you know the syncros are toast?

based on the fact that you lost those gears from a launch leads me to believe that it is most likely a clutch/pressure plate issue

well good luck, you'll need it.

Default Not my first time with these transmissions. This will be the third one...

Either I am teh suck at driving or...well that's probably it...

No, Audi replaced the first two, I got tired of it and bought the third one from TMTek.

The clutch is brand new and has only had a few launches on it. it was broken in properly, etc, etc. It's a clutch master stage IV.

As far as the shifting goes, it has no problems shifting in any other gear. From a dead stop with the clutch depressed, it goes in 4 - 6 with no problem. 1st and 2nd are the ones that won't even let me force them in.

that's strange. you drive pretty rough huh. might want to invest in a stasis trans, to handle abuse

But are they better than stock after the rebuild? i.e, are they still 'glass trannies'?
