I'm just not convinced 2248 ft-lb of torque is enough capability for me, thx anyway.

Default Easy there. I was just saying it sounded pricey to me.

I did dyno my car at SpeedSport last weekend. Just looking out for my fellow Audi owners to make sure they aren't getting ripped off. Jeez.

Default uh, the only power mod I have is chipped, and in fact, this past weekend, I let them know that

I would be interested in putting the Avant on the rollers. Just out of curiosity. Even though I have no more mods to make.

What's the point of your arguement? I'm just pointing out about people who complain about the prices of something like a dyno run yet have no problems shelling out thousands on mods.

Get a grip.

Default So about 250 kilowatt-hours, eh?

...and the fans and dyno electrics are really only being used for less than a minute at a time, right? That's 15,000 kilowatts in that minute, which if it's connected to a 220 volt circuit, means it is drawing 68,182 amps of electricity. I'd be overwhelmingly surprised if it uses even 1% of that amount of electricity, and that only costs about a quarter.

Default UPRD, when I called (during my sedan days) was charging $250...

It's hard to find 4wd dynos in the first place, and ones that are actually set up correctly and don't use bunch of home depot fans.

Didn't mean to be nasty at all, and I'll be the one commending consumer protection, but I really do think this is reasonable.

You get what you pay for.
