After 4 1/2 months of waiting I finally go a production date of tomorrow. Should have a VIN in a week.

Thought this would never happen, was planning on flying out to the S4 state (CT) and picking one up next month.

Now I only have to wait about another 2 months ?

That would mean 6 1/2 month total time from order to delivery.

Does anyone know if I will get the new LOGO or not ?

I've been calling my dealer updates weekly. I've been told that mine is in production status for 4 weeks now. No VIN yet. Do you think I'm getting told a story (or the whole story)? TIA

Based on how everything has gone for me, I wouldn't be suprised if I have the same problem. I hope not .. I really do want to wait til January that would be 7 months from order to delivery.

I can let you know when I get my VIN.

Not sure if you knew, the Audi factory for the most part closes for the month August. I guess this is a HUGE vacation month. I guess just about everyone goes on vacation. This may play a role in your case. Either Audi is that far BEHIND schedule or they are giving you a bunch of BSat the dealer. From what I understand it takes APPROX. 2 weeks for the BUILD process, by the 3rd week your car should be loaded on the boat, the boat trip takes appox. 2 weeks sometimes 3. From there depending on location it can take another week before it gets to your dealer. This is what I've been told by users on this forum.

Well guys I placed my order in August and just talked to the dealer today he's receiving an update Monday and then I should have my VIN. It's confirmed in production and the expected date is somewhere the 2-3rd week in October. Where are you guys located? I'm in Atlanta, GA. Was your dealer over allocation? Mine was not but have ordered a lot of S4's for a "small" market in Huntsville.

Good luck, I doubt you will see it that quick it takes a least 2 weeks on the boat, sometimes closer to 3. Not to mention the time it takes to get from the dock to the dealer .. My guess is mid to late October ..
