The NAV is pretty cool, a little confusing to use from the start, but I think well integrated into the car. I wish the "deluxe" system was available in the US that has the full map display, however.

Do you have a 'Hump' on the Trunk lid?

Saw one this past weekend and it didn't have that hump like the A8. Nothing at all.

Default Don't bother w/ the manual, it's worthless. Just get in and play around...

BTW, no "humps" and why didn't the CD come with the car? Avrum and mine both came w/ the CD for our area.

Default Questions on the NAV system,

If you don't mind, I have ordered one with it mostly because the one coming in had it, so -

1.) Do you only get the one CD with it?

2.) there is a CD ROM drive separate from CD player and changer, right?

3.) can it "remember" certain per-loaded desitinations you have used before so it is easy to imput them?

4.) I was hoping that the screenless one would actually be better, once the novelty of the map wears off, you don't agree? ( I wouldn't have paid anymore this option, they will get allot cheaper every year from now on).

Thanks for your answers.

Default My $0.02

1) Yes
2) Yes, below the 6 pack
3) Yes, you can name them as well
4) Yes, in the Pod is the safest way to go, it may not impress the passengers, but it's right in your line of sight.

Default A couple things you might not guess w/out the manual...

Incidentally, mpm, my CD did not come with my car. They ordered it form me seperately - I got it like 3 days later. They asked me what region I wanted. And it costs $180, which is not included in the $1100 MSRP of the Nav system.

1) you can adjust how far down the radio volume goes when the Nav voice comes in - It's in the radio manual. Basically, you turn off the radio, hold down "P. Scan" while turning it back on. You get a display that says SCV or something like that. Each time you press P. SCAN, it switches to a new option - there are like 5 total. The NAV one determins the radio/Nav volume differential

2) you can adjust the volume of the Nav voice while it is navigating. You press the Nav button, and it brings you back to the top level display - from there you can go to settings.
