Default race weight was about 3810 by my best guess and boost around 20psi

I weighed my car previously at a strip at 3600. That was with my Racing Hart wheels (46lb tire/wheel). The RS4 Reps are 52lb tire/wheel, thus an extra 24lbs. Add in my 185 and we're up to ~3810 assuming nothing else changed much (gas was about the same - I changed suspsension but should be very similar - I did go back to stock brakes, not sure how much that changed)

When I go out next, I'll be without seats and with my OZ wheels.

It kinda sucks that I need to remove my seats just to get to an even weight of a Sedan, but day-to-day I'd never trade away my Avant just for that weight difference )

Default Was it faster? If so, that's pretty fast...

I'm planning to put a big turbo on my Golf - no idea what to expect for performance though. I assumed they were basically running low 13's

Default Damn those wagons are heavy. Guess I didn't factor that in...

...my S4 sedan weighed 3660 with 230 lbs. of me and about 10 lbs. of clothes and helmet one me in the car when I did my last dragstrip run. That's with a couple gallons of gas and no spare, but otherwise "full weight" besides my weight saving mods, even with my 26-lb. Ronal LZ's.

Default wow, that seems pretty light....

I think the '00s were lighter in general:

Here's my car without a spare and without me (with my Racing Hart 46lb-combo wheels):
<img src="http://ctny.audiworld.com/mark/s4/drags/photos/weight_3598_nospare.jpg">

Here it is after also removing 3 seats:
<img src="http://ctny.audiworld.com/mark/s4/drags/photos/weight_3470_noseats.jpg">

And then here it is without seats but now with me (185) in it:
<img src="http://ctny.audiworld.com/mark/s4/drags/photos/weight_3655_noseats_withme.jpg">

So that last datapoint is pretty close to yours. We're both at ~3660 lbs race weight with these differences:
Yours: 230lb driver
Mine: 185lb driver and 3 seats removed

I'll be sure to point people to this post if they give me grief about removing my seats )

Default My sedan weighed 3535 at the drags when I last weighed.

That was without me and I don't recall which wheels I had on at the time (probably BBS CHs which are a few pounds lighter than stock).

Probably would be about 3680 with me in it. That was when I was on K03s so I'll be sure to weigh it next time I hit the drags.

Default Well....

I was really just messing with you BUT I ran 13.00 @ 110mph with a 1.9 60' time I believe... all on street tires.

If I had slicks I think I could have easily ran in the mid to high 12's.

Hooking up in 1st and 2nd was a bitch due to so much tire spin.

Default Ohh....

Somehow there is a void in my memory related to you having a bigger turbo in your 337. Were you running APR's Stg3 kit? What other mods did you have?

Default Very cool...

I hope to get started on my Golf this month...

My aim is to be on par with a Stg2 S4 on the highway, daily (ie 93oct). Something around 300wHP (340 crank?) should get me there considering differences in:
- weight
- drivetrain
- powerband

I plan to add:
turbo kit TBA
exhaust
SMIC
clutch
flywheel
LSD
cat

Oh, and I'll keep it looking stock

Default Stay away from the APR kit.

I got rid of mine after the endless battles with APR and the bull**** I had to go through with the bolts backing out of the housing. And I think that there are other companies out there now making more power for less money. My GTI never made the power that other stage3 kits were making. I was always down by 15-20whp... ALWAYS!
