Default Finally shorter exhaust tips!!!!! (long)

My super long APR tips were driving me crazy on my avant. I contacted Bill Boat Exhaust (makers of APR exhaust) and they said they would shorten the tips at no charge. Just pay for shipping. Unfortunately my rear muffler is welded to the middle muffler. So I took it to a local shop to have them cut the weld so I could send the rear to BB.

The dude said he would shorten them for me for $40.

I said, "Should we do 1.5 or 2 inches?"
Muffler Dude, "About two. You're thinking about it too much."
Me, "How are you going to make sure they're straight? Do you have a square?"
Dude, "Eyeball. Don't worry about it."

So I left with little confindence, but was surprised when I returned that it is perfect! I've seen better welds, but this isn't F1. Sorry I don't have a before picture, but the tips looked like bazookas.

I prefer a staggered tip for a rounded rear. Still awesome car.

Ha ha. Lift kits from rancho are going to be the new thing. In time, I'll go stasis.
