blew through this evening and dropped the ambient temp about 25F to 70F. Barely made it to the UNOCAL station on fumes and put five gallons of 100 octane in the car. Switched from the 91 octane program (which is working fantastically) to the 93 octane and did some quick turns to make any of the old gas mix with the good stuff. As soon as I figured all the 91 octane was through the line and the good stuff had made it to the engine, I made a couple a 93 program test runs. Very nice. Not a bit of notchiness. My days of detonation are over. Pulled over and switched up to the 100 octane program. Boy howdy this car runs! Noticeably faster than the 93 program and surprisingly strong above 5,000 rpm where my old APR 93 software was falling on its face. I can see the car running a mid-13 easy. Weird thing is that I never really thought much about the weight shift that everyone complains about (and gets stiffer spring to get rid of). On the 100 program the nose raised so much the car felt like it was going to do a wheelie. Well, you know what they say, one mod leads to another and the next thing you know, you have the mod bug. If you are going APR, get the EMCS and have them throw 100 programming on there so the few times a year you want to spend for good gas, you can kick some butt. Gotta go call my buddy with the E46 M3.

Only difference I can tell is slightly lower price and no Milltek logo on the tailpipes. Sounds identical.

You can definitely hear them if you stomp on it, but if you are looking for heavy duty VM-1 type sound effects, these aren't the best bet.
They do breath much easier than stock (3 inch pipes) and are a noticable improvement in omph even with the stock ECU.
