fk coilovers arrived today .. install on sat. yay. that is all.

i originally ordered h&r street coils. few hours later dan calls back and says that i just missed the last one. 8o

so they recommended the fk konigsports and discounted them due to the messup. i told dan i'd call him back in 30min or so to confirm. never got the chance to call back .. got busy.

next day i find a charge of 1200+ or so on my credit card. spp had charged and shipped the fk's. oh well. they cut me a deal on the fk's and informed me that there are higher rate springs coming out in the near future. i can always "upgrade" if need be.

no complaints. =)

That was exactly a year ago. I thought SPP currently sells different springs?

basically the konigsports with a polished stainless steel body.
they're real pretty. heh

from what i understand .. fk currently only has 2 sets of spring rates for coilovers

1. 470/420 or something like that (what i have)
2. 800/1100.

i'm told they're coming out with a medium set something around 550/650.

I installed my FK Konigsports in the summer and they always make a stupid clunk in the back when going over small bumps....even after replacing the rears...very annoying!!!!!

Others have had this issue with other coilovers....some S4's like coilovers and some don't I guess...

If anyone has additional info on this, besides the comment from AWE, please let me know.

The 800/1100 Spring rates are that of Intrax race springs I am pretty sure.
