Flat Tire... hour away from house. tightened lug nuts with stock tire iron....

i tighten them as hard as i could (not jumping on or anything.. just with my two hands). ill torque them down later to 90lbs.. but was wondering if tightening them 2 hard could strip the threads? thanksss

You should be OK for at least a year or so. If you don't try to bend the wrench I doubt if you would strip the threads. I have bent the stock wrench in trying to get them undone when they have been on a long time. (not an Audi), but most factory wrenches have short handles.

buy a 3/4 inch breaker bar and get a 4 inch extion and a 17 mil socket and throw out the stock one, it is much better to have in the car, also buy a tq wrench it is a good investment, 90 FT pounds of TQ is the oem spec I belive.
