in the new automobile magazine on page 41 there is a PIAA add.
there it shows a High intensity discharge foglight. Could these somehow be wired in so that the HID bulbs fit in the original S4 fog housing and have the balast somewhere in the bumper?

If so this would be great

Fog lamps SHOULD NOT BE BRIGHT. Thats why they are FOG LAMPS. You turn them on when its foggy out because the main lights reflect off the fog so you cant see.

HID Fog lamps are an excercise in futility. Please, dont destroy your car because you havent gone out and tried to figure out why something was done a particular way in the first place.

Oh and technically it would be illegal. Hids in an on road vehicle are required to have auto leveling systems since they can blind people.
