Default follow up post on rough idle/misfire on idle/lean idle = split F Hose

So i did some searching on AW and other sites and talked to a few folks even orderd a remanuf. S8 MAF sensor in the hopes of curing my Long term fuel trim code - bank one and two too lean codes. everything pointed to the MAF being bad or a check valve . Mike2KS4 suggested checking a intake side leak somehwere.

Turns out my MTM F-hose ( less than 4K miles on it ) was split. Man those things are a PITA to fix. Anyway, Piggie was very helpful in helping me fix the problem. We just took off the one hose that was shot and replaced it with a larger stronger one. Car runs GREAT now.

So for those that have similiar issues and think it is the MAF check the F-hose first. ( on 2000 and 2001 models )
