Followup to my post yesterday, re: erratic fuel trims at idle
Luckily I had a spare Hitachi MAF, I installed it last night and the problem SEEMS to be fixed. I have about 40 minutes of driving on the spare and it's working much better, g/s (002) now hover between 3.75 and 4.75 as opposed to 4.5 and 7.6 with the old MAF @ idle. Idle Fuel trims (033) now hover around 0 give or take +/- 3 approx. Long term idle trims (032) are right around 0.
The erratic MAF was making it extremely difficult to tune my PEB fueling setup with Lemmiwinks. Tweaks just did not do what they were supposed to.
