Forge/Milltek exhaust leak?

So I got my new exhaust installed today. However, the clamps don't seem to do a particularly good job of sealing the exhaust.
In the joint between the new exhaust and the pipes from the cats they leak and the joints a couple of inches back also leak.
We tightened the clamps pretty hard but we're afraid that we might strip the screw or break the clamp.
Anyone had a similar problem?
The rest of the install went fine and it sounds really nice with no droning, except for these damn leaks

...I think one on my Borla is less than 100% after being loosened/tightened twice, and I'm considering that at some point.

Bolted. Bolting an exhaust will always make trouble.. it heats and cools, expands and contracts and will eventually move and torch your bumber or leak or some ****.
BTW.. my entire exhaust is welded together and I have NEVER had a problem (VMII) and when my tranny went south they got the whole thing out WITHOUT touching the exhaust.

because of the design of the cutout on the overlapping part, the clamp tends to pinch and open at the end of the cutout.
I had to position the clamp (orient the bolts horizontally with the clamp directly over the end of the cutout) perfectly and really make sure the pipes were overlapped to prevent leaking. You can use a hammer and a 2x4 on the ends of the pipes to knock them in place.
