Default forge valve install question

I just installed my forge dump valves, I replaced the vacuum hose line on the drivers side with silicone tubing from statmosphere. On the passenger side valve there is very little room for the stock rubber vacuum hose because the forge valves are bigger than the stock Bosch ones. After I completed the install I hoped that stock rubber vacuum hose which I chose to stick with was not being crimped too much at the nipple of the valve. There is a oxygen sensor bracket that causes the vacuum hose to do a 90 degree turn. Does anybody else have this problem? I drove the car and I think I had full boost at all times. What might be the symptoms of a crimped vacuum hose?

Default Here's what I did..

I cut the large hose on the left side of the valve to account for the larger size of the BPV. That gave the smaller vacuum line room to turn without being crimped. Just make sure that the larger vacuum line is securely fascened to the BPV. I haven't had any problems yet.

Default Seems easier to just trim the vacuum lines...

Both of mine could be shortened about 1/2" or so, as they now rub against nearby brackets. They are not crimped, however... I just don't want them to wear through.

Interestingly, my driver's side vacuum hose fit on the valve's nipple just fine. From what I've read here, I had expected some difficulty, but was pleasantly surprised.

Default You can't do that because....

the little vacuum line is still very close to that steet throttle body line. They have to have a straighter shot to the BPV (so they don't crimp); therefore, you have to get the BPV further away from the throttlebody. The only way to do that is to shorten the larger vacuum line on the left of the BPV. Make sense?
