If you have a problem with your valves sticking , Please contact me and I will send you out new valves, The product is guarnteed for life .
( info@forgemotorsport.co.uk).
For a uesr review on the forge valves go herehttps://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng16.shtml
The new Bosch valves are no different internaly , than the previous valves, the problem is that the diaphragm in time will fail, The material is the same , The solution would be to change the material used in the valve,
These valves have been in use over the last 10 years on the early Cosworths , Lancia , Fiat , and Audi and nothing has changed , the only sure and long term solution is to change to a quality aftermarket valve.

my power band has a surge in it, kind of like turbo lag on large turbo apps. Will I notice a decrease in power too? TIA

* if there is enourmous lag
* massive boost spikes
or try taking the valves off when hot (use gloves, of course
and seeing if the piston moves freely or not
Also, check to see that the vacuum is holding... push the piston in, place your finger over the nipple and let go of the piston, it should stay open (maybe close a little bit, but shouldn't close all the way)
at least, these are things I do from time to time.

tuner that I originally purchased them from(US dealer, unprompted too I might add, good support). However, I did recognize that after 8-10K miles the boost levels were becomming inconsistent and upon dissassembly found sludge/oil was affecting their operation indicated by wear areas/smearing around the O ring travel areas.
The products are of excellent quality but appear to be focused toward the track group vs daily usage. Bottom line, liked the valves but was not excited about an additional service item in my daily driver. Also, the Bosch/Audi valves carry warranty, which is still important to me on my current S4.
Thank you again for the reply - more evidence of Forge's committment to customer service.
