u need to use ur picture poster and then link ...

click where it says "post picture" at the top

How do you take a picture ......

that i have saved on my computer and add it to my pic poster?

You can edit your original post.

Look down below the "message" window, and there is a field for entering the URL for images. If you need to host it, scroll up and click on "post picture", and then paste the URL into that field when you get it.

There, I did my good n00b deed for the day.
