Default You know the funniest part?

Brembo (for whatever misguided reason) is the supplier of the seals for the stoptech pistons.

Oh, and the reason for the bridge bolt on the Stoptechs? It needs it to keep from flexing.

They should just call 'em CopyTech.

Default I got to drive a APR Stage 3 recently with 332s, but not at a level high enough to discern

superiority. They're damn good, just like the Big Reds on my car. I did notice a more linear feel with my set up, but that could just be 'cause the Reds were on my last 3 Audis and that is what I am used to. I just asked because I know you and Istook are kind of tight is all.

Default Why does Stoptech ONLY look at piston size?

They're claiming that they're system is superior because the perfectly sized pistons. Yet there's three other major factor affecting braking torque:

1) Radius
2) Brake pad coefficient of friction.
3) system pressure

Stoptech's problem is that the biasing instantly changes as soon as you use a pad that's different from what they used for tuning. Were they using track pads or street pads? What kind of pads were in the rear? What about an S4 with different suspension? These are all factors which change the bias.

And if you have a different brake kit, biasing is easily adjustable by using shims on the caliper to change the effective rotor radius, and using various combination of pads front to back.

It's the small guy using distorted marketing hype to splash into market. Consider them exposed.

Default You are just making this up arent you?

>The set I puchased,front993tts

from who?

>caused a hard to modulate grabby, unbalanced car >that didnt work with the ABS.

I have 993tt brakes, they have none of the problemts you describe.

>Worst of all,is that most of the vendors selling >these kits knock the 993tts rotors out of >balance creating a very annoying front end shake >so bad,I sold them in a week to my brother.

um how do you know that most vendors do this? heck how the hell do you knock a sold piece of iron out of balance?

>Thats because they are selling their own cob-job >hats.

um, you know one CNC'ed disk of aluminum is basicly the same as another CNC'ed disk of aluminum.

>Movit is the only Porsche kit that works!!!!!>Have deep pockets though!

how do you know?

I think you have no cluse what you are talking about, give us details or go home.
