so i am going through the whole car and found one sensor not hooked up but dont know what it is. please lmk what it is and if it should be left unhooked

You are fine. The previous owner just did a N249 delete. My car is set up the same way.

Jesus, there is a delete for everything these days.. (Didn't know anyone deleted that little guy)

so i saw some plumbing that looked pretty sloppy on the car so i redid some of it and now seemed to pull hard though the gears the one thing i noticed though is that i forgot to plug in the maf.... and the car actually ran better... any ideas?

Possible bad MAF. If it runs better unplugged than you should try to clean or replace it. Search the forums...
