FrankS .... my thoughts on using the Eastwood unibody adapter pad w/ the HF aluminum jack ....

Excuse the poor pic quality, I was in a rush.
The adapter pad has a smaller 1/2" post surrounded by a removable thick steel collar that is approx 1 1/16" in diameter.

Since you mentioned that the post mounting hole in the aluminum jack may only be an inch or possibly less, my thought was to create a smaller collar around the 1/2" post using heavy steel washers like this. It's not particularly elegant, but it may do the job.

If I had access to a machine shop, I might try machining a smaller collar, but I don't.

I'll let you know the exact scoop. No sense in spending all of that money on the Jack yourself just to test fit. I have to pick up some circlip pliers to pull the pad so I can get an accurate measurement.
It looks like the thicker collar may work. My 1" measurement was a quick ruff one using a wooden ruler :-O

of the adapter pad to make it fit the car at the designated lifting points. It took me about 10 minutes with a new hack saw blade.

Well here's the scoop. It won't work with this jack.
The stock pad shaft has a hole bored through it to allow a large aluminum (3/4") pin to go through it. Each end of the pin is circlipped in order to keep it in place.
The Eastwood shaft is a small diameter solid shaft and there's no way to attach it to the jacks lifting arm without some amount of metal welding and machining.
I'll try to take some pics later.
