We all hate to have to pay for damage on our cars, or to replace items after the warranty is up. It sucks, but that is part of ownership.
I have become extremely disgusted by those who have mishaps and come in the forum, asking if they should take it to the dealer and have it fixed under warranty. This is blantant fraud, and as such causes the price of parts and service to increase for all of us. I just do not think its fair, as I pay for damage I have done to my car myself, without expecting you to pay for it.
Audi's warranty is one of the best in the business, and the service provided is a huge cost savings to us all. I will back anyone that has issues with a dealer that does not fix a legitmate defect or failure under warranty. I equally back the dealers for refusing to replace items that are damged, broken, etc due to no fault of the vehicle or part itself.
Many dealerships have been alerted to those trying to commit fraud, and we all must do our part to discourage this act. It is our money.
Please take responsibility for your own actions. Let us enjoy our cars, without commiting acts of fraud. Now drive on...

then try to get the warranty to take care of your problems...but dont be all pissed if you get denied. So if you chip, have a good wad of $$ laying around for a turbo repair if needed. Dont play the chip game unless you can afford to.
