Free metal lathe to good home. Identical to one on eBay for $949 opening bid
I've got to make room for office space in my basement, so I'm getting rid of this metal lathe. It is very heavy and very big and it works. Dimensions are approximatly 5 feet long, 4 feet tall and two feet deep. If you know of anyone who might be interested in the beast, please pass this message along. If I don't hear from anyone, I'll put it up on eBay for $1.

I have lots of attachments and other stuff for this lathe. It's available for immediate pickup from Maplewood, NJ. Bring along a couple of very strong friends!
This was left to me when a friend's father-in-law died about 5 years ago. I've used it a few times, but it's simply too big and complicated for my needs. I don't know how to operate most of the gizmos on this lathe, but my friends who know about
such things tell me it's a very nice one.
Here's a photo from the eBay ad:
I have all those accessories too. Free also.

dahnke...
Im happy with the et but ecstatic over the trap speeds...121.5mph in a 3500lb car(with driver) correlates to 489whp(im guesstimating 575+ at the crank)at 21psi of boost. Other parameters I have looked into say that the car could/should run 11.2 "in a perfect world" in its current state of tune! Knowing this and knowing that physics don't lie I am honestly setting the wheels in motion to see if i can clip off a high 10 with a few "changes", and still be a daily driver!

race math

good luck , thanks and...
please be careful w the car before you get the fueling resolved! About the 11's its kind of crazy that once one guy does it the floodgates open up just like the 12's! drag racing is full of those invisible walls.
