Default Ummm... All S4's seats are heated. They all include the heating elements, it's just a matter of

putting the switches in the climate control.

If you know what's needed to rig up heated seats in a (non-heated seat) s4, post them up or email me please. Thanks.

Default I guess I can't confirm this for sure, but it's my understanding that every S4 seat

includes the heating elements and wiring needed. It is this way for cost effectiveness. The less variation, the better.

The difference between the cold weather package and the standard S4 is just a matter switches on the climate control. All you have to do is hook up one with the seat heater controls. It's simple.

I'm sure there is someone on here that has done it if you STFA. I told this to my buddy with an '02 Discovery and non-heated seats. He bought the switches for $20 and had heated seats.

Default I have heard this from quite a few people, but have never confirmed it.

Do you have ETKA access? You could check to see if there are different part numbers listed for the seats depending on cold weather package. It's my understanding that only the climate control differs, not the seats or wiring. You should be able to buy a new/used climate control with the switches and have heated seats no problem.

My old mechanic told me this. Didn't know if it was BS or not.

Buy a used climate control unit with the seat heater dials. Hook it up.

I believe this is the case for almost any car manufacturer.

Default STFA says no

i found a couple of posts saying that all the seats weren't wired for it. Mat@4induktion says you have to put in heating elements. hmmm???

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/2434788.phtml</a
