front axle bolts broke. What is the worst case scenario. I just need a hole cv axle?....

I was just pulling into a parking lot. No muss, no fuss, no noise, just suddenly no drive. There was no apparent damage to any components, including the bolts (!)--it was just as it I'd removed them.
I can't believe it's possible that all six just backed out with NO damage. I'm thinking that the shop who did the wheel bearing never torqued them up (or maybe never even tightened them!).
I just cleaned everything, regreased, put it all together, and it's been problem-free (that part of the car, anyway!!!).

these properly in the first place. If I recall those have thread locker on them, or should, when installed. Additionally, if torqued to spec they should not back out.
