Default Front End Bounce

I have been searching on this and have only found limited information on it. When going down the road I have a problem where the front end of my car will bounce or gallop, as it happens multiple times in a row. This only occurs when going over a ridge, bump, etc, but not on a flat surface. So far it seems that it is related to the eibach lowering springs I have on my car causing the problem. I am also running a set of bilstein shocks, making the set. Can anyone lend some advise as to the cause of this and what can be done to fix it?

Possibly related:

Thank you

Default Ha! I just found out I need an alignment... my front tires are worn to hell on the FAR inside...

No thanks to my local shop that supposedly aligned them last time I bought tires 6 months ago... now I'm having to buy another set Thanks for the recommendation on that... I'll try that first before dropping the cash on suspension stuff... need to replace my toe links also... I found one of them full of water lol

Blown shocks - or simply not enough damping. Time for new - stiffer rebound shocks

Default I put them on about 30k or so ago... I noticed some oil seepage (sp) coming from them...

website says that that is normal though...

Default some, means very little, if its thick and dark, they are blown..bilstein puts that on their website

to eliminate the copius amounts of rebuilds they have to do every day...chances are, their blown! BTDT man!

Default My experience is that a blown shock is covered in oil and that oil is covered in lots of road dust

and a small/tiny rocks.

If the shock is covered in oily dirt, then it's blown. A little oil on the shaft itself is usually normal.

Default Tried to get car aligned but they wouldn't do it since they didn't have the specs...

Anyone have the proper alignment specs for a 2k S4 with edelbrock sport springs??
