Default front sway bar question....

does anyone have this?
if so, what kind of gains are recieved from it
...kind of a stupid question since the answer is probably "less roll" but humor me anyway...

should I get it if I want to stiffen the car up a ridiculas amount?

Default Do you like *LOTS* of understeer? Most of us are trying to lessen how much of this we experience.

You already have a front sway bar and it's a stiff one at that. Unless you have done something remarkable to the rear end first, I can't imagine why you would want to stiffen the front.

Default what is understeer?

and I would be puttting in a rear sway bar, front strut tower brace and a front sway bar in the front(if I decide to go with it).

The main reason I am looking to do this is because I am getting some rims in next week and I heard that the tire size I got might interfere with the fender in hard cornering situations, so my thought was, "instead of rolling the fenders, way not just make the car more stiff, and race car-like?".

Default Leave the front alone buddy, if your tire/rim combo rubs, just roll the fenders,

Understeer is when the front tires lose contact with the road during a turn and you PLOW your way into something straight, instead of following the turn.

Default I recommand learning more..

A lot more about suspension dynamics before you spend any of your hard earned $..

Just the basic about understeer, oversteer, body flex, and the parts that can change these.

Its foolish to buy anything without kowning how it works...

unless you are just on a shopping run.

Default ahh..?

If you know what rear sway bar does then why do you not know how it does in the front.

They performan the SAME thing to different locations.

As for the struct bar.. look behind your firewall. We already got one.

Default I have been thinking of getting eibach front sway bar..

with my neuspeed 19mm rear the handling should be better than stock setting, BTW if stiff sway bar in front will coz understeer why eibach make one for S4/A4! I still think there is a good reason they make them for aftermarket kit, any input will help!

Default It might be a thinner one.

A front sway bar isn't just adding understeer or oversteer.

The changes how the weight moves around 4 corners.
