just to send a warning to other fuel filter straps to fall in line. Don't test me Audi standard maintenance.

I got so pissed at that bolt, I just cut the fvcking strap. Filter came right out. I just zip tied the filter back in when I was done. Even that was probably unnecessary since with the tank up and both bango's on, that thing isn't going anywhere.

Didn't even open the box until I had the old one out. Looked totally different than the old one. Had to put the old filter back in!! Got a Beck/Arnley one from the parts store (which had to be ordered), and it came with new crush washers. Did that job last week. For me, the hardest part was getting the tank straps back on, cuz I had half a tank of gas in there, which is not so light.
