I know that fuel sending unit problems have been addressed many times before, and I've read them all, but I don't think my problem is quite the same. Most of the time, my fuel gauge needle stays on empty, but then sometimes it will randomly move to full, and then it goes past full and makes a complete circle back to empty again. It even stays pointing straight down sometimes. My trip computer accurately displays how many miles I have left on my current tank of gas though. Anybody know what the problem is?
