This weekend I changed the temperature on my climate control and the next thing I knew it was displaying in Celsius....wasn't sure how I did it so I started pushing and holding down buttons but could not get it to change. The funny thing is that the outside temp in the instrument cluster also changed to Celsius... Seems a bit odd that it would change just the temp section and not change the mpg/avg.mph/etc to metric also...

maybe its just me...but I thought this was a bit odd...here is a pic:

When I got back to a computer and could STFA I found this <a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/int4.shtml"> https://www.audiworld.com/tech/int4.shtml </a> ....in this article it says:


FAHRENHEIT OR CELSIUS
You can change the climate control to be in Fahrenheit or Celsius degrees. To switch, press the recirculation button and hold, at the same time, press the temperature "+" button. I do not know of any way to change the outside temperature display in the instrument pod.


I thought I'd share that from my experience changing the climate control from Fahrenheit to Celsius also changes the outside temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius in the instrument cluster.

Also, I did not hold down the re-circulation button and hit the "+" button at the same time when it switch on me... lets hope this was just a fluke.

In the UK we use celsius and miles (not km) so that's perfect for us ex-pat Brits...
