Default G12 in non-audi?

Anyone try running G12 in a non-audi vehicle? I ran prestone through my *expensive* competition all-aluminum radiator in an non-audi turbo vehicle, and by the end of the season, the radiator suddently corroded. Prior to that i was using dexcool for a few years without the corrosion issue. I'd consider just using the dexcool again, but i had some other issue with that product.

Basically, I'm looking for a coolant product that is phosphate and silicate free, and still keeps aluminum systems in good shape. Maybe I'll try the G12. Any other suggestion?

Zerex G05 should work ok. Phosphate free IIRC. I liked it in an 87 audi.

Go to a VW dealer. Same stuff (even has the audi logo on the bottle) but it was about $10 cheaper

Default From what I understand G12 is dexcool. Go with G12 plus or a G05. I use Motorcraft Premium Gold

which is another G05 coolant.
