Getting a "check engine" lite and "ABS" lite w/ new chipped ecu ?

Ok my car isn't getting any smoother after 100+ miles w/new abt chip and giac Tip chip installed yesterday. I did the 3-5min "key-on"TBA after installing. Car still surging under medium to heavy throttle, particularly when it shifts.
Should the boost drop off momentairly for each shift of a Tip?
Check engine lite came on after about 80 miles and now the ABS lite comes on under heavy acceleration in top gears. Any ideas on ABS lite?
I just ordered a VAG, 710N TT Bypass Valves, and ABt TBB. I'll do a VAG TBA and then get the fault code I guess? and then install the new parts?
Does this make sense? TIA
