If I really should/need to them on I will, I'm just wondering if I'm dumb to think that I don't need them. TIA and flame away. :-P

I think it depends on the hood you bought. some have them, others don't

Default Most of them bolt right on and use the existing latch mechanism.

The only reason to pin it on is personal preference.

Default i'd use em...

especially if it's full CF, not CF with a fiberglass frame.

i dunno, i would deal with the look of hood pins
vs. the thought of the hood flying up and ripping
off the factory latch at speed.

Default you can use em with any hood, even your stock hood.

just cause the place he bought his from didn't
supply hood pins doesn't necessarily mean there
isn't the possibility of the stock latch not
being able to hold the hood at high speeds.

Get the hood pins. I have them for my CF hood. At higher speeds the hood flops. So get them.

Flops is a bad term. Because the hood is lighter the hood wants to move some.

APR's hood can use the stock hood latch. Just use that.
