Hi guys,
I've noticed some posts recently regarding Stage 3- options. I have recently upgraded to APR stage 3 on PJ K04's. I was running GIAC 3- with 5 bar regulator, I definetely notice a difference going to APR fueling but I have to say that the GIAC 3- setup was impressive considering the stock fueling. I went 12.68 @ 109 mph with the GIAC 3- set-up.
Check the URL I have posted the GIAC 3- set-up for sale if interested.

https://forums.audiworld.com/b5-class/msgs/5432.phtml</a

feel much faster. Though I am on 91 craptane and the GIAC 3- detonated often on WOT. Rarely happens with the APR Stage 3.

i just can't justify spending an additional $2k for arguably another ~40-50hp/tq. if i were to upgrade, i'd prolly go with vast or awe.

...stock injectors are maxed out with GIAC 3-.
I *think* that's why I've seen boost spikes and erratic throttle when at I'm at WOT for extended periods of time. Note that I've only seen this towards the end of straights while road racing.
But I'm speculating here, I'm no tuning expert.
My *guess* is the SW thinks the injectors can do more, it adds/keeps boost, then the injectors max out and you run lean, then it cuts boost and you start over again.
If someone who knows about these things would like to comment, I'd be interested. Am I right? Or wrong?
Thanks.

I'd be happy to look at it and try to figure out what is going on. I know a little about this stuff, I think.

All I can say is that the car runs absolutely fine aside for this. My car is pretty low mileage too - around 55K, babied, blah, blah.
Yeah, I'd be willing log it, but I don't have ECUx
I'm in the Bay Area, CA if someone with ECUx wants to drop by and log this issue.
Also, I have a VAST fueling kit in my garage and as you can imagine, I'm itching to get that installed
So we'd have to log it fairly soon.
