Default If they were smart, they'd make a 91 octane program and a 93 octane program a la APR.

At this point, you're pretty much an idiot to buy AWE if you plan to run on gas better than craptane.

Default Kinda like I have at 21 psi :(....

Once I get my fueling dialed in for this boost level I'm going to play with lower boost to see if I can get more timing and stay just as fast. I also want to raise boost for 100 octane

Agreed, AWE seems relegated to 91 craptane users who don't want to tune.

Default the 91 program exists BECAUSE 91oct users were complaining that the pump gas program sucked on 91

which it did; it worked nice on 93 but 91 was so slow it was embarassing.

Default So they changed their "pump" program from 93 to 91? What exactly changed?...

I guess I always thought it was one progoram. Sorry if this was discussed earlier. I really didn't pay attention to AWE coding changes.

They traded some boost in favor of timing (mid-range).

Default the old "91" program was simply the 93oct pump program with timing pulled

it was slow and poopy, so they made a separate 91oct program with that midrange boost dip, but a very aggressive ramp.

i have no idea which version RobC is using.

Default I've confirmed there is only one version for 91 & 93

Mike emailed me back and says one version of code supports both 91 and 93 octane fuel. Perhaps that's the reason for the conservative requested boost.

Yeah, it sucks for 93 octane users who could run more boost safely.
