Default GIAC Flash loader not communicating with my ECU. Apparently it works, but for some reason ...

it's not working on my car. WTF! /

What kind of electrical intereferences could cause this?

Anything I can do to resolve it?

Default Did you have Vag-com running prior to Flashloader? You need to exit out of Vag-com before...

connecting with Flashloader software. I had similar issues when I first used the program. For some reason or other, Vag-Com connection confuses the Flashloader software from recognizing the signal.

Default No. I'm talking about the hand held device that plugs in. The software switching program ..

(through VAG-COM) works fine.

Right now, the only way to switch programs is with the laptop, but I don't want to lug it with me if I go race and run XR. (

Default hmm very weird, I have the flashloader with no probs...did you check..

the socket where it plugs into your dash? maybe it's not getting pushed in to connect all the way or something? But if your vag works fine that's just weird.
