Default If you have all the parts gathered (T fitting, extra hose, MBC), 15 minutes taking your time.

Adjusting SEL scaling will take you a grand total of 30 seconds.

If your installer in not comfortable he should not install it.

I agree 10000%. I'm just backing up my justification for intalling it period.

Default well, first off, its not that easy to calibrate

you have about 100-200 mbar to work with, and depending on conditions, the MBC won't behave as consistently as you might hope.

secondly, TC isn't necessarily a bad thing.. think about it, its basically doing the SAME thing as an MBC, its just doing it with computer, so it can respond instantaneously to a boost spike to within 2-3mbar, something your MBC will NEVER be able to do...

the down side is that TC won't go off until actual crosses requested .. and you do lose a *tad* more power than from a simple MBC.

from my prelim logging (i just installed piggie mbc #101 on my car), its not much btw ;/

Default If your installer is who I think it is - he knows about Mbox X chip problems.

I have had MANY discussions with him about this. However, we should respect his right to not install something he is not comfortable with.

You did right by not saying who it is. If you email me offline, we can confirm if we are talking about the same person.

I went to AMS to solve this problem.

Default Running a MBC in parallel is an ADDED safety measure. Your orginal

question said nothing about running a TCD, so you will be fine.
