giving up the S: move into a 330i/ci or A3?

Do you really have to give up the S? I drive the 330i with m-package sometimes
Not nearly as powerful, although it feels a lot tighter in the suspension. Can't speak for the A3, although the 3.2 sounds like it would be fun.

Ive driven the E46 330ci and the E90 330i...
I never thought I would say this but I think the E90 330i is actually worht the money. Its handling is amazing and very balanced. Everything about the car is solid! A big improvement over the E46 imo. I almost bought an E46 a couple yrs back fyi, but i didnt think the older model was worht the money.

What year 330? My father used to have the 330i I believe it was an 02...
Nice car... He had Auto because of all the driving he does, but still very nice drive.
Handles very well... Acceleration was pretty good. I like to compare that to an 01 IS300, but with much better handling.
Interior styling is very nice on that car. I would say get the new 330ci
