GOING CRAZY HERE... my OEM and O34 TBBs keep popping off. Ordered a Bipipe...
but I don't understand what is going on.
I have had minor issues with torn TBB in the past but this year it keeps popping off under boost. I have it clamped down with the updated OEM clamps as tight as I can?
So I order an O34 TBB and install it. Pop, again and again. Blame the fact that it has no lip like the OEM Rubber one and give up on it.
I ordered a CT Breeze hose clamp and the constant tension head is TOOOOOO big to fit anywhere in that tight area so I gave up on it and put in a new updated stock clamp. Tighten everything as tight as it will go. Minutes later as soon as I hit boost, POP.
I have cleaned the oil out of the TBB's and dried them up good before reinstalling....
I have a Bipipe on order but it will take 2 weeks to arrive to me.
Any ideas? Could it have something to do with the IPP intercoolers?

hairspray... clean them with simple green, then use hairspray inside them and clamp them
but not "too tight" you don't want tons of pressure this can sometimes help cause them to slip off, you want them "really snug"
argh, i can't explain it properly. But on my FMIC i had the same problem with hoses, I cleaned up everything and just tightened the clamps enough that they were holding firmly, but not to a point where i couldn't tighten them anymore.
