Going into third gear over 4k rpm its grinds a little is it the sychro???

If so how much to replace and should i replace the clutch with an RS4 at the same time?

Same thing happens to my car (more)...

My gears would grind when upshifting or downshifting into 3rd anywhere over 4500rpm. I brought it in and they said that my syncros were shot. I have an aftermarket warranty and the are replacing it with a used tranny with 11K miles on it. I am also getting the RS4 clutch and lightweight flywheel installed at the same time.
