of Motul 600 vs. stock. I don't plan to track the car in the near future, so should I just let them supply brake fluid or is Motul 600 all that? TIA!

it really shouldnt be a problem, even when i do track my car, but i have bottles of brake fluid lying around. if i knew they were going to bleed my brakes i would have given them a bottle.

...it will go bad before normal brake fluid.
Here's the deal, normal brake fluid is pretty much lifetime stuff as long as you don't heat the brakes up. Motul 600 handles the heat better, but needs to be replaced every 6 months or so, faster if subjected to high heat. Plus, it's $10 per bottle so it's kind of pricey.

It's hydroscopic, and Audi even spec's to change it out every two years. You're right though...the high perf. brake fluids are even more hydroscopic...should flush every 12 months, but frankly, you should only be using it if you're taking the car to the track, and if you are, you should be bleeding at each event, so hopefully you wouldn't need to do a full flush every year.
