Going to try and adjust coilovers. Would penetrating oil on the collar and threads be bad?

Would WD40 be better or safer? The last time I did it I borrowed a spring compressor to take some tension of the collar since my compressors don't fit while installed on the car. This time I was going to jsut try it without the compressors. Anything other than penetrating oil or WD40 I could try to make it a little easier to turn. Seems like the bottom of the spring is digging into the collar making it hard to turn because you're going against the tension of the spring.

Default Any should be fine, just be sure to keep note of where you adjusted to if they slip a bit.

I doubt it though, should hold fine
