Doesn't hurt wheels, no residue. Makes cleaning a piece of cake. Use a foam ended bottle brush and you will easily get all the brake dust in the hub and inside of wheel. I spend two minutes a wheel and it looks like new every time.

Check out the detailing forum! The best on the net!

I have some great stuff at home: I'll check it out and respond later. I always wax them heavily (Mother's), then next time they get filthy I just spray this stuff, 'agitate' it a bit with a hard sponge-like brush, and 1 minute later rinse off. At this point it's already 99.9% as clean as the day I picked it up, and after a quick wiping with a rag it's OMFG clean!
The other day I did this successfully after almost 2 months of no washing, and riding down a dusty dirt road leaving an air show for almost a mile. Needless to say, my rims were actually DARKER than my tires. Still only took two mins to clean :-)
